About this very useful Jami Flatpak version 20251124.0. Below is a challenge and, for your consideration and for your decision, a suggested resolution

The challenge is that, according to Flatpak updater, “runtime org.kde.Platform branch 6.8 is end-of-life.” In other words, this runtime version is no longer receiving security updates. Thus, an increasing security risk.

The suggested resolution is to update this runtime above to its latest secured version.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Using Terminal, run this command flatpak update

2. Terminal displays this:

   Looking for updates…

   Info: runtime org.kde.Platform branch 6.8 is end-of-life, with reason:
   We strongly recommend moving to the latest stable version of the Platform and SDK
   Info: applications using this runtime:
   com.obsproject.Studio, net.jami.Jami

Thanks for the heads up about the warning! We are actually currently in the process of migrating to Qt 6.10.1 for Jami, so the change on the end for flatpak should be relatively straightforward.
