DataTable With Sticky / Frozen Header

Question

I've been trying for a couple of days to find a quick and easy solution for creating a datatable with a sticky header or a header that stays docked at the top of the table.

Is there an easy way to do it or does it require some third party library such as simpledt to do it?

I haven't been able to find any good examples and it's definitely not on the docs.

Ok is there any timeline when this is going to be fixed or do you have a workaround?
