Text field always on top of a datatable possible?

Hey,

I have a text field at the top of the page with a datatable below it. Is it possible to keep the text field always on top and possibly in focus yet allowing the datatable to be scrolled down beneath it? I’m trying to create a barcode picking app and the built in 1D scanner inputs text into the text field however if the datatable is scrolled down it loses focus so the barcode scanner inputs to nothing. Any ideas?
