Source fields at the location of the source for phase de-embeding #3325

Hello everyone, I was wondering if there is a way to directly obtain the fields of the source directly at the location of the source instead of at a field monitor a certain distance away. this would help a lot in using it as a reference for calculating the reflection and transmission coefficients of the system under study and then de-embeding the phase in the reflection and transmission monitors. Thank you |

There is no direct way to record it in the simulation, but if you're using a mode source or a beam source you can use either the mode solver or the BeamProfile module. What kind of source are you talking about? |

No, for a plane wave you can use the BeamProfile module. Check out this exmaple. The source uses the same under the hood to generate the injection currents.
