Describe the bug
The Day/Month/Year selection buttons don't show when this card is used in a sections dashboard

I would like to bump this one as I have the same issue.

Same for me, I add the energy period selector and everything seems fine. As soon as I reload the page, the day, month and year selectors are gone. Even editing and changing the Energy-Period-Selector object does not bring the buttons back.

HA Version: 2025.2.1

I am seeing the same problem. Everything works fine until I restart the HA app. Then the day, weeks, month, year… buttons are gone. Haven’t find a way yet to bring them back. This way the selector cannot be used.

Same issue here. Cannot get buttons back. There is a DOM error.

Adding to it: when sections are used on multiple tabs, the selector is changed on every tab simultaneously.

I have the same issue. When rebooting HA the month/day/week buttons are visible, bus after a refresh of the browser these buttons are gone.

Same issue seen here. Together with other serious issues this component is currently not ready for production.

Same here, on the companion app on my wall mounted ipad

I have the same issue here, but, even if I can't explained exactly what hapenned, I have found a reproductible way to get it back.
Hope this will give some hint to developpers to investigate further...

• I have a dashboard (section type but it work the same with other types) with the energy period selector plus card. The selection date looks fine :

• then hit refresh page button and the date selection disapeared as mentionned by previous post :

• then click the edit dashboard button, and as soon as you click on '+' button to add any card on the dashboard (or any other dashboards), the date selection come back :

Very weird behaviour...
