Local git repository synced across devices

I wanted to ask @marcelklehr whats stopping floccus to being able to use a local git repo instead of a git server. This repo could be synced across devices, for example using syncthing. Whats different to lets say a gitea instance? Could it work? Would it run into complicated problems i didnt think of?

The issue is that floccus cannot access the file system. If you expose a local git repo via a local HTTP server you can access that via floccus easily as well.
