Hey @asmithja 👋 Thank you for taking the time to give feedback! I appreciate it :)
Yes, this is not possible at the moment. I have been asked to look into something similar on windows but the request was not followed up. I would not advise to file sync the extension folder.
I'm not sure how managed storage works, to be honest. Sorry. |

Hello everyone,
Im unsure if there is a feature for it already but I cant find it...
Background:
I am using nixos and have it set up to automatically install chrome and force it to install floccus via config file,
so whenever I install this config somewhere I get chrome + floccus ready to use.
Currently after installation I have to manually import my sync profile(s) into floccus.
Desired Result:
After installing nixos and applying the config I want chrome+floccus+sync profiles set up.
I searched around and found that (according to ChatGPT) there is no way to trigger floccus to automatically install a profile.
ChatGPT mentioned using the managed storage would allow me to prefill the extensions storage via policies, but I guess that is not an option currently, is it (according to the permissions there is no access to managed storage, just "normal" storage)?
Do you have another idea that would allow me to install my config and after opening the browser for the very first time floccus immediately starts importing my bookmarks via the injected sync profile? Another suggestion from GPT was to file-sync the extension folder, would this be a (rather) stable solution?
