Syncing takes forever or not syncing

Describe the Bug

The sync starts when I click the icon on the extension bar on Chrome, but it never ends (and it's not synching). It used to show the window and I used to click the sync icon to start synching. It worked a few times when I first installed it, but it stopped working. The following image shows my settings.

Is there any limit in the number of synching? Or, should I donate some money to get this continue to working (I doubt it, but I asking based on some experience with other free extension).

Expected Behavior

As I explained above, clicking the icon should show the window and I click the sync icon. It should take only a few seconds for synching.

To Reproduce

Just click the extension icon on the menu bar. The following image shows what's happening when I click the menu icon.

Thank you for taking the time to open this issue with floccus. I know it's frustrating when software
causes problems. You have made the right choice to come here and open an issue to make sure your problem gets looked at
and if possible solved.
I'm Marcel and I created floccus a few years ago, maintaining it ever since. I currently work for Nextcloud
which leaves me with less time for side projects like this one than I used to have.
I still try to answer all issues and if possible fix all bugs here, but it sometimes takes a while until I get to it.
Until then, please be patient.

to help you, solve your problems or deliver on any expectations or demands you may have, but if enough people come together we can
collaborate to make this software better. For everyone.
Thus, if you can, you could also have a look at other issues to see whether you can help other people with your knowledge
and experience. If you have coding experience it would also be awesome if you could step up to dive into the code and
try to fix the odd bug yourself. Everyone will be thankful for extra helping hands!

No donation is necessary in exchange for functionality. All functionality should "just work", for everyone, donor or not. So, this would be a bug then. I'll try to reproduce. In the meantime, can you try the following?

1. Try closing chrome and reopening
2. If that fails, try Reinstalling the extension and readding the profile

I had tried both ways you suggested to troubleshoot the problem and it didn't work last time, but it seems to be working this time - at least for my work laptop. I'll need to try with home laptop this evening to make sure the sync truly works, but at least I see the extension working on one system. I'll let you know if it works both ways. It seems to be working also for my home laptop. Thanks for the troubleshooting tips. I don't understand why it didn't work before since I tried the methods before. In any case, thanks for your help. Greatly appreciated!
Synching bookmarks for multiple computers is pretty important for me, and this extension gives me the solution.
