Describe the Bug

After launching and waiting for sync, app crashes/closes.

You have made the right choice to come here and open an issue to make sure your problem gets looked at and if possible solved. I currently work for Nextcloud which leaves me with less time for side projects like this one than I used to have. Nobody here is under any obligation to help you, solve your problems or deliver on any expectations or demands you may have, but if enough people come together we can collaborate to make this software better. For everyone. Thus, if you can, you could also have a look at other issues to see whether you can help other people with your knowledge and experience. Thank you for taking the time to give feedback by opening this issue!
I guess we're using an Android feature there that is not supported yet on your phone :/ Can you try disabling notifications for the floccus app? That might fix it for the short term.

I see that sync notifications was added in 5.7.0.
First I tested with the different Importance levels but disabling notifications altogether kept it from crashing.

Given the age of the OS (Android 7) & device (2013) and the newness of the notification feature I don't think there's anything that needs fixing.
Assuming there's any other Nougat (or earlier) users out there with the same issue then turning off notifications should suffice.

Closing this. Not sure if I should pick 'Completed' or 'Not Planned' in the options.
