Error loading live preview and generating drawings inside Inkscape

I was working normally with a six months old version of inkscape and boxes.py. I changed my laptop and started fresh, working again with a WSL version and Ubuntu. After installation, the extensions are available in Inkscape, however, no live preview or any vectors are generated given an error of missing "main" module inside the boxes location (capture attached). So basically the extensions are not working. I am not a programmer and cannot identify the error, maybe it is a easy one. I really like the work of Boxes.py.
