How do I configure the OpenSearch output to support multiple IP addresses in the Host field?

we have a opensearch cluster, it includes couple of nodes. we are using the ip to ingest data, but currently the opensearch output host did not support multiple ip address. is there a way for adding multiple ip addresses in host? currently fluentbit version is 4.2

Easiest way is probably to use a LoadBalancer or similar then just specify that as the host.

@patrick-stephens Yes I know lb will work. but that also requires the lb maintenance in the future, dns rr may also work but not as good as lb.
does there is a way to directly support the ips only. thank you

I mean IPs may change and will require maintenance too :) Feels like you're avoiding using a service designed to solve this problem.

I'm not sure there's direct support for multiple IPs other than via the upstream support which I don't think is implemented for Opensearch: https://docs.fluentbit.io/manual/administration/configuring-fluent-bit/classic-mode/upstream-servers

What are you intending multiple IPs to do either? Round-robin, send to all, only change on failure, etc.? I think you're implying you want it to round-robin so only sends to one unless it fails but again the behaviour would have to be implemented and LBs already solve all this.
