GCode-Preview updating layers, but no head movement shown

What happened

While printing, I love to watch the GCode-Preview. Usually it shows the current layer printing as well as the head movements.

A few days ago, after not printing for a while, I did an update of all components (klipper, moonraker, fluidd, etc.) and since then, the GCode-Preview only displays the current layer, but no longer shows head movements.

Current layer and layer count are displayed correctly, so the print stats macro is working. (Using orcaslicer 2.3.1)

The progress stays at 0 though, and even moving the progress slider does not affect the display of the gcode below.

I already compared current and older gcodes and could not find any difference in metadata.

What did you expect to happen

I expect to see the head movements in the GCode-Preview.

How to reproduce

1. Start a print
2. Wait for the printer to start printing
3. Navigate to GCode-Preview
4. Load current gcode file

Hi @mrzottel, thank you for opening this issue, however on preliminary tests, I have been unable to reproduce the problem.

Here's a capture from a small print I just ran:

Can I ask that you upload one of the gcode files where you experienced this problem?

I already wondered why there would be no one else reporting that, if it is a common issue...

Perhaps as additional information:

• I am using a Voron 2.4 with ERCF v2 MMU using Happy Hare V3.4.1.
• Happy Hare is running in synced mode, so it most likely has to parse the gcode as well to sync the MMU motor to the extruder
  (I'm also checking their github for issues as well, just in case...)

Thank you, I've now confirmed the bug and am currently tracing back the git log to find when this was introduced...

I've found the source of this problem and have now submitted a fix for it, a new "develop" branch based Docker image will be issues in a few minutes with the fix and you can try if you are ok to use Docker.

I will probably push this to the "master" branch later today and do a new release then.

I'm afraid it did not fix this issue for me. Running ghcr.io/fluidd-core/fluidd:latest-develop

Can I ask that you just load the test file you send (no need to print, just load on the gcode preview), does the green toolhead dot move when Progress is changed manually (like on the animation I posted above)?

Also, what Klipper version are you using?
