Do you mean that when inserting a lot of messages, I need to set a calculated value for cacheExtent of ListView.builder?

You can do it in two ways

1. Set a reasonable fixed value for cacheExtent based on your own situation
2. Reduce the number of messages inserted at one time, such as queuing inserting no more than n messages and refreshing the ListView
