Can't give the app the correct permissions in a non-admin user profile on Graphene OS

I'm on Graphene OS on a Pixel 9a and have been using DetoxDroid for the automatic grayscale feature. I got it successfully running on my main user. I'm trying to use it on another profile too, but the grayscale feature isn't working, even when I try to run the .bat file on debug mode on my other user profile. What can I do to successfully run Detox Droid on a non-admin user? I can give more info if needed, like what shows up when I run the .bat file.
