(Fedora) Hiding the Task Manager when writing

Firstly, I love this software. I am quite new to Linux and have been having some issues with accidentally touching the taskbar with my arm when using my stylus. Usually the taskbar hides itself on most programs, however I am not sure how to make this happen on this application.

I am not entirely sure if this is the correct place to ask this question, or if it is better suited for a Fedora forum page...
