Disabling the garbage collection

I've noticed that disabling the garbage collection temporarily until the plugins end loading improves the load time considerably. In my init.lua I'm doing :

collectgarbage "stop"

vim.api.nvim_create_autocmd("InsertEnter", {
  callback = function()
    collectgarbage "restart"
  end,
  once = true,
})

Just tested this, and I didn't see any real improvements. how big a difference is it for you?

I suppose it depends on the plugins you have, (the more the most noticeable) I will post my measurements once I get to my pc.

For me it goes from 39ms with garbage collection enabled to 35ms with it disabled.
