Ok making the switch to Lazy vim but. I am a little lost I think I over installed

Hey fellow keyboard cultists, So today I made the big switch to committing to neovim/lazyvim. I installed neovim a while back then forgot, then reinstalled then tried helix,(still love helix) but today Like I said I made the commitment to stick it out. I followed a online guide and video guide but they didnt seem to help. SO I have everything installed I think. but things are half working from what I can tell.
When I type in :mason to go to the mason.nvim page for plugins I get an error saying mason is not a editor command.
This is most likely because I just don't know what i'm doing but I'm following videos and i keep hitting road blocks where my install does't act the same as theirs. I think ill try to delete it all and re install. Does anyone have advice for learning this better or a youtube channel that is great for guides or some cheat-sheet or something.? I dunno guess i'm just looking for guidance from the elders on this topic. lol

The command for mason, is :Mason with a capital M.
