Sidekick and terminal lockups

I have been using Kitty for some time. Works great. I use LazyVim to deliver my neovim experience. I added sidekick to access services like opencode, claude and codex. I have spent a few days coding up a project with sidekick and codex.

Also, my terminal has been locked up and unusable on three occasions now, to the point of having to do a complete OS kill on the terminal process due to what I will loosely label as something something something. If I were a betting man, I would point the finger at something something like maybe the under hood activities going on between the sidekick plugin and in my recent work, codex.

How, I dunno. What, is easy. Something about using sidekick kills Kitty DEAD. Really dead... anyone else experience any terminal failures playing with this plugin? I would love to isolate exactly what is killing the terminal, but at this point, I have little to go on.
