Help in Operator pending mode configuration

Hi, noted that hitting keys like s or = pops out a menu like the following:

Also I do not understand how these should be related to the pressed keys. Have not tested other keys but could find others.

Tried disabling which keys for Operator pending mode but this breaks also my prefix, that's the leader key space.

Another question is why I see the same menu also after setting like operators = true and I hit y for example.

Any help is really appreciated. Thanks!

Are you 100% certain you're using the latest which-key version?

As for s you probably are using a surround plugin? So which-key shows you a popup of omaps.
Same for y.

you can set opts.modes.defer.operators.y = false to only trigger which key after something like ya instead.

Yes I'm on latest commit. If I do as suggested I should defer every key I want to disable. In this case, how about the = key?

Is there a way to just disable all operators with operators=false but still keeping my space key as which key prefix?

Any help understanding how the new defer function should be used with operators like, d, y, =. etc?

just check for ctx.operator. It will be set to the active operator when in op mode.
so if ctx.operator = "d" then return true end
