Space between icons and descriptions

Hi everybody.
I've just migrated to v3 and like the icons but I have some minor issues because of the font I'm using.

As You can see some icons are bigger than they should be. I don't mind the size but they get a little bit too close to the text. Is it possible to add padding to the icons? I could just change the font but I like what I'm using right now.

Yep. This is a bit annoying...
Adding a space after the icon would be nice.
