How to open which-key popup manually, only.

How to I trigger the which-key popup entirely manually? I only want the which-key popup to display on-demand and not automatically. How can I configure this please? What key combination is recommended for manual opening of the pop-up? The key combination for manual opening should probably include the key I want to query. Thank you.

I would like to know as well.
I believe Lunarvim had which-key configured like this,
but lunarvim is dead.

I tried triggers, which does seem to turn off auto-popups,
but doesn't turn on for any key I enter.
