Adding new keybinds to the registers plugin

Hi, I have slightly modified my i_Ctrl-R binding so that it acts more like normal mode insert. This is how it looks like:

map("i", "<C-r>", "<C-r><C-p>", { desc = "Insert register contents literally" })

  plugin = "registers",

    "<c-r><c-p>",
    mode = { "i", "c" },

})

I also tried to modify registers plugin keymap so that it reacts to the as well, but it doesn't seem to work. The registers window doesn't show up when I press Ctrl-R anymore.

Can I fix this somehow?

(I use LazyVim if it helps)
