Allow user to specify columns to skip in a bulk data import

Frequently, when importing bulk data from a CSV, I have fields in the CSV that I do not want to upload to the org. Would it be possible to add a flag that allows the user to specify a list of columns that are skipped during the import?

We would need to parse the CSV -> JS object, do the filtering and go back to CSV for sending it again to the API, I think it's doable but not sure how common this use-case is.

In the meantime, you could use miller cut to achieve the same: https://miller.readthedocs.io/en/latest/misc-examples/

Ah, yeah, I could see adding a csv parser being a heavier lift than it's worth.

@Ztrizzo - This is an interesting suggestion. I can see how this would be useful given the use case you describe.

Unfortunately, I don't feel the use case is common enough to add to our roadmap at this time.
