ESlint now supports multithreading, and as we see css and html files also being added to the standard scans, runtime is going up.
It would be great to see https://eslint.org/blog/2025/08/multithread-linting/ added as an option or even a default in code-analyzer

add --concurrency=auto to eslint runs

Thanks @DougMidgley for the detailed request and for sharing the ESLint multithreading update.

We agree that as the scope of standard scans expands (including CSS and HTML), runtime becomes an important consideration. ESLint’s recently introduced multithreaded linting is a promising improvement, and enabling --concurrency=auto could help reduce execution time in larger projects.

We’re currently evaluating how this option would fit into the code-analyzer CLI, including:

Compatibility with supported ESLint versions

Impact on resource usage in different environments

Whether this should be configurable or enabled by default

we will discuss and may consider it as part of our performance optimization roadmap. We’ll share updates once we have more clarity on feasibility and rollout.
