Adjustments to code completion controls

I would love it if I could disable code completion when I'm using the delete key to remove code. Invariably I get suggested ghost-text showing up after the cursor when I hit a delete key, making it difficult to keep track of where I'm deleting because it's now to the right of the ghost-text suggestion, which could be off-screen with a long suggestion.

It would also be wonderful if once I hit escape to make a code suggestion disappear, if it would not just show up again after I type my next character. Not sure when the best action to resume suggestions would be, but in my mind if it would wait until I've pressed any movement-only key or return and begun typing again (aka, I've moved to a new point in the code (arrows, home, end, pageup/dn, enter) and begun typing again.

I would also love a way to disable multi-line code suggestions. These just make it difficult to work. There are very few times that the suggestion is what I'm intending.
