Pre-parser rule list slow to load

Hello,

Thanks for a great form application and useful modules.

I just upgraded to FT3 from FT2. Everything seems to be working great. But I noticed one issue with the pre-parser module. I'm wondering if this is OK or something is broken.

My list of rules is very, very slow to load after clicking "SELECT" from the Module list page. The list of my rules loads much slower than it did in FT2.

Is this lag normal? Does it indicate something is broken or configured wrong?

I checked with my server team, and everything checks out with the server and database. The issue has something to do with this module. I'm not noticing any lag with any other Formtools features.

On the user side, the pre-parser seems to work fine. I don't notice any lag when submitting forms as a user on forms that have a pre-parser rule.

I've run the system check modules, and everything checks out.

Hey Thad - how many parser rules do you have set up? I'll do some testing locally and see if I can reproduce.

Hi, Ben. We have 28 rules. That's after we deleted some after noticing this issue. Deleting some rules didn't seem to help. Thanks.

Hi @tkelling, I'm just turning to update this module now. I set up ~30 rules but the page loads instantaneously, so I'm kind of at a loss as to what could be causing this. Have you noticed any other performance issues on other pages?

Hello. The other list pages like this appear to load very quickly. Like our list of forms. That loads quickly as expected. Or like the list of form submissions for any form. Those also loads quickly. This makes me think the problem is with the module and not our server. I'm guessing these list pages are generated through similar processes.

The other performance issue that's a bigger pain is how long it takes to download a report from our forms. This process sometimes takes a couple of minutes and frequently crashes our server. I'm not sure this is related to the slow pre-parser list page. But maybe.
