Unintentional resume of plotting of graph

Describe the bug
Graph plotting resumes once the menu bar's option is clicked after
plotting of the graph was stopped.

Expected Behavior
When graph plotting is paused, it should be in the paused state only and should not
resume if the menu bar's option is clicked.

Steps to reproduce it

1. Go to memory graph and load any test data
2. Pause the loading
3. Click on the menu bar's option and plotting will resume.
