Help Needed: "Nothing to Compile" Issue with Foundry Build

I’m experiencing an issue with the Foundry tool where the forge build command consistently reports "Nothing to compile," despite having updated my Solidity contract. Here’s a summary of the steps I’ve taken and the current status:

Project Setup

Project Directory Structure

When I run forge build, it consistently outputs:

Nothing to compile

Troubleshooting Steps Taken

Deleted .foundry Directory:

rm -rf .foundry```

### Deleted out Directory:

```rm -rf out```

### Tried Building with Verbose Output:
 
```forge build --verbose```

### Received:


```error: unexpected argument '--verbose' found```

1. I Verified the Project Location and File Integrity
2. I Ensured the src directory contains the correct Solidity files.
3. Verified that the foundry.toml configuration is accurate.
4. Tested with a Fresh Project:
5. Initialized a new project using forge init.
6. Added a minimal contract but still encountered the same issue.
7. Checked Foundry VersioN
8. Reinstalled Foundry
9. Followed the installation instructions again to ensure a clean setup.
10. And Saved the src File


Question

Has anyone encountered a similar issue with Foundry where the forge build command reports "Nothing to compile" despite having Solidity files present? What steps can I take to resolve this issue? Are there any additional troubleshooting steps or considerations I might have missed?

I fixed it, I uninstalled all of my extensions and it worked
