Coffee machine turning on via BT protocol

Greetings. Can the coffee machine be powered on via Bluetooth protocol after a power outage? The maximum time available to be in ON mode so appears to be 9 hours on my JURA E6. I see that this can be achieved through the UART protocol. But I want to know is it possible to solve this issue via BT protocol? Or maybe there's a way to disable automatic turn off. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I am not close to the machine at the moment because I think there might be a command that turns the machine on since if powered, the Bluetooth dongle is still on, but I would need to test it first.

Nonetheless, if you plan on controlling the machine with Bluetooth, you must keep an active heartbeat to maintain an active connection. And I believe that by establishing this connection, you are constantly resetting the 9 hours limit. The machine I work on stays on from 7 am to 6 pm.

Try something like this where every 5 seconds you make sure the connection does not die and see if the machine stays on. If not, I will try as soon as possible to test the other option and get back to you, but hopefully, this serves as a band-aid for now.

Thank you for your response @franfrancisco9. I had attempted the method involving heartbeats previously, but despite implementing it, the system still undergoes automatic shutdown once the predetermined duration has elapsed.

In my opinion, accessing the configuration settings of the machine and adjusting the duration of the automatic shutdown(maybe need to find a UUID of that setting) could potentially resolve this issue. Specifically, we could send a command to the machine after 8 hours to modify the automatic shutdown setting from 9 hours to 8 hours, and then reset it back to 9 hours. I think this approach could be effective in addressing the problem at hand.

@sergey-gra Sorry for the delay I was not near the machine the past month and a half. Were you able to solve the issue? I imagine the reason your machine turns off is that no coffee is made?

One other approach you could use is every 8 hours you order the machine to make a simple product (just hot water) that way the time is probably going to reset
