Component control and error reading

Hi Francisco,

First of all, congratulations on your Jura-Python-BT project — really impressive work!
I work professionally with coffee machines (including Jura) for maintenance and repairs, and I’m very interested in your Bluetooth approach.

I would like to use your project and potentially extend it for diagnostic and service purposes.

Specifically, I’d like to be able to:

• control individual components (pump, grinder, solenoids, heater, etc.);
• read error codes and internal status information.

Do you know if the Jura Bluetooth protocol exposes these functions?
Have you experimented with service- or maintenance-level commands?

If you are open to collaboration, I would be happy to test or help develop a “service tool” version of your script.

Thank you for the kind words.

Most likely yes, but you would have to do some debugging there! I documented the procedure I used to find the characteristics to perform the basic control. I know that for newer models, there are ways to enter a more developer mode.

I unfortunately have no access to a Jura machine and little time to dedicate to the project, but I for sure still open to helping wherever possible!
