I have a Quake 3 map compiled as qfusion
q3map2 -bsp -game qfusion
q3map2 -light -shade -game qfusion -style -dirty
r_fullbright 1 doesn't make the level full bright like it does with a Quake 1 map. It seems to disable lights with styles (dynamic lightmaps).
The red light in the corner pulses slowly:
With r_fullbright 1 it is dimmed and stops pulsing, but otherwise the light level stays the same as before:
