Could you possibly attach a video of the behavior? I've sort of tested it. In the editor you can move zones forward/backward. I Just haven't tested it exctensively when snapping. I think i know what you're talking about and I had a solution. I just completely forgot to do it. |

Working perfectly now! Thanks for bringing this great feature over to Linux. I'll post my layout in the discussion once I re-finish it. I had a pretty intricate one in PowerToys but formatted my Windows installation, but I lost it. |

Description
We can already define overlapping zones, even if it is a lot of pain to configure, but they don't work well when applying. They default to the bigger zone in that region.
Problem it Solves
In FancyZones a feature I used was overlapping zones, which applied them based on area covered. That allowed me to stack some 8 zones for different media formats, like a 1080p and 1440p zones in a 3440x1440 ultrawide display.
