Shifter Power LED

Hi

Not really an issue, just curious. Why is it when I connect the arduino to the shifter, the shifters green power Led does not light up?

The shifter works perfectly fine with the arduino apart from the Led not lighting up on the shifter directly. Not really an issue, just a nice to have.
