Subscribe to Topic

Hey there,
Is it possible to Subscribe to a Topic? Like in this doku: https://firebase.google.com/docs/cloud-messaging/android/topic-messaging

And another thing: I do get Messages but after the app is loaded there is no successful or error status

console.log ("Reg Succeeded: " + regID);

Is there something wrong? x)
