Description
Use Cases
Currently using Grayjay Desktop, version 12 on Windows.
Problem:
Clicking a link in a video description immediately opens the link inside Grayjay with no apparent way to leave the browsing session. Clicking a mouse button bound to "back" takes you back to the video list instead of the video you clicked the link from.
Right-clicking or middle clicking a link does nothing.
Dragging your mouse over the link to highlight it allows you to 'Copy' via right-click. Ctrl+C (the most obvious shortcut for highlighted text) causes the video to restart playback.
Proposal
Have a setting to allow links to be opened in an external browser by default.
Allow right-clicking a link to open a context menu with options to copy the link, or open internally in grayjay, or open in external browser. Or allow middle click to open a link in an external browser.
If a link is opened in Grayjay, have obvious controls to move forward and backward or close the internal browser view and take you back to where you were instead of back to the video list.
Note that I open links from a video description mainly from videos accessed via the 'Watch Later' video list, so that is always where I am returned once I figured out how to get out of the browser without restarting grayjay completely.
