frames are flashing with >= macOS 10.14.6

I get this error message when running the example app with a HAP video that otherwise works fine in quicktime or on an older macOS. The frames sometimes show and sometimes are black.

I realize this is an old add-on. But thought I might as well document the error here anyway.

I get this with OF 0.10.0 to OF 0.11.0
