The package

UGALY (Universal Groups Acting LocallY) is a GAP package that provides methods to create, analyse and find local actions of generalised universal groups acting on locally finite regular trees, following Burger-Mozes and Tornier.

Development

UGALY was developed by Khalil Hannouch and Stephan Tornier within the Zero-Dimensional Symmetry Research Group in the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences at The University of Newcastle, Australia.

Contributions were later made by Tasman Fell within the same research group.
