When doing :TSInstall gap I get the following:

nvim-treesitter[gap]: Error during "tree-sitter generate"
error: unexpected argument '--no-bindings' found

  tip: to pass '--no-bindings' as a value, use '-- --no-bindings'

Usage: tree-sitter generate [OPTIONS] [GRAMMAR_PATH]

not sure if I am doing something wrong, but if you have any advice @reiniscirpons, I'd be very happy to hear about it.

Hi James, Im having a hard time reproducing, it seems it might be a plugin version issue rather than an issue with the grammar.

Looking at the tree-sitter release notes, it seems that the --no-bindings option was deprecated in version 0.26.1 (https://github.com/tree-sitter/tree-sitter/releases/tag/v0.26.1). Could you check what tree-sitter --version returns in your console? If it is a version 0.26 or higher, then you have two options: either downgrade tree-sitter to version 0.25 (version 0.26 came out only 2 weeks ago, so plugins haven't caught up) or update to version 0.10.0 of the nvim-treesitter plugin. If you are using a plugin manager like Lazy with a lua-based config, you can do the latter by adding the dictionary

somewhere in your neovim plugin config. At least in theory, I'm using AstroNvim on top of my neovim install, so doing this for me involved editing the ~/.config/nvim/lua/plugins/overridden.lua file and pinning a specific branch (because the version option was getting ignored, somehow), the contents of which are:

Depending on your exact setup your mileage may vary as what you need to do to use version 0.10 of nvim-treesitter.

I will eventually bump the version for the grammar and dependencies etc too, but this issue seems to be an editor/plugin ecosystem issue rather than an issue with the grammar.
