Support for Rate type

I was reading through the [datadog metrics documentation](https://docs.datadoghq.com/developers/metrics/types/?tab=gauge#metric-types) and noticed there's a "RATE" type which would prove really handy for some work I'm currently doing. However, I don't see support in this library for it. Is ther e a plan to add it? Or a way of using it I missed?
