Headless Shopify store with gatsby and Facebook/Instagram shopify app

We are using gatsby with shopify to build a headless store. The public store is hosted with gatsbyjs hosting on a different domain. The client is using the facebook app to tag products on instagram.
It looks like the facebook app is automatically configured with the domain in shopify where it's trying to validate products. Is there a way to configure the plugin to use the headless site for product validation?
