[gatsby-source-filesystem] progress bar gone in v3?

See #10979 - this feature existed and worked for me back when I was on Gatsby v2, but now that I've upgraded to v3, the progress bar that used to appear during remote file download is gone. Was this deliberately removed for the v3 version of gatsby-source-filesystem? If not, why would it disappear and is there a way to get it back?
