Can't get Links in the Gatsby Gitbook Starter project to open in the main Gatsby window.

Need help concerning the Gatsby Gitbook Starter project, which I am using as the foundation to my developer docs. The links that bind to internal targets that I add in my markdown files open up in a new tab. Is there anyway to make all internal links presented within the tab of main UI?
