Jenkins job not marked as failing when the crawl fails

(This should be fixed first, so in future we get notifications.)

https://builds.gbif.org/job/run-content-crawler/ — the mendeley-crawls have failed, but the jobs show as succeeded. Probably an appropriate exit status from the Java application needs to be set.

Then once that's fixed, the job should be fixed.

I had a look but the RxJava Observable seems designed to swallow exceptions and continue, is anyone paying attention to the error logs for this?

If it's run with version LATEST it succeeds.

(But this issue is still relevant.)
