Make it straightforward to use the non-WebM projections

People embed GBIF maps in their own sites.

Can we make it easy for them to do this, by providing a Javascript library which automatically does what's needed with OpenLayers or Leaflet?

There's a start here:

but it's rubbish, someone who actually knows Javascript should design it.

Options for this are:

• WMTS, see example: https://labs.gbif.org/~mblissett/2022/06/wmts/ but it would benefit from multidimensional filters: https://docs.ogc.org/per/16-042r1.html#_multidimensional_wmts_domain_discovery
• OGC vector tiles, but this is in draft: https://ogcapi.ogc.org/tiles/ / https://openlayers.org/en/latest/examples/ogc-vector-tiles.html

Either way, a lot less Javascript is needed to use OpenLayers, and it's also easier in QGIS.
