Crash when accessing the db property

For some reason I get crashes with the following test:

def test_crash_when_accessing_db
conn = EmbeddedMongo::Connection.new.db("mydb", :pool_size => 5, :timeout => 5)
res = conn['test']['foo'].find("_id"=>1234).to_a.first
assert_equal(nil, res)
end

I have tried tracking it down but I cant seem to figure out how it reaches the crashing code path.

It crashes when the connection is accessed with a DB name as well as a bucket name. If I access it with just the bucket then it works.
