Want to learn how to build your own website? Already have your own site and want to have more control over it? Interested in learning to program but want to start small? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, this course is for you!

This beginner course will guide you through the basics of HTML and CSS. By the end of the class, you will have developed a first version of your own website.

Join our two-part workshop for complete beginners and learn HTML and CSS, the foundation of making any website or web app! This class will meet for two sessions, and both sessions are covered for the $100 class fee.


TECH REQUIREMENTS
• A laptop with a power supply.
• A modern browser with either Chrome (https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/) and the "Web Developer (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/bfbameneiokkgbdmiekhjnmfkcnldhhm)" extension or Firefox (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/) and Firebug (http://getfirebug.com/) installed.
• A text editor. We recommend Sublime Text 2 (http://www.sublimetext.com/2) (It's free and available for both Mac and PC).

If you don't have a modern browser and text editor it may take 20 minutes to install prior to class. Please come prepared.
