Can this be used with my google pro plan without needing an API key?

Like the title says, what's the setup for using this without an API key.

I spent several days with gemini trying to have me change settings with different variations and getting the pro plan logged into to set things up and nothing worked.

A couple weeks ago this worked great with my pro plan without needing an API key and then with newer updates yall changed something and now i can't figure out how to get it to work without an API key.

People are using API keys and being charged!
