Not able to login to in-secured private registry

Hello Everyone,
What is the way to login to in-secured private registry using "img". This image registry is a development environment and used by multiple teams. When using docker cli this works by making below entry into daemon.json file

"insecure-registries" : ["https://myregistry.com"]
}
