Pre-requisites to deploying BETA to Prod

Here are the pre-requisites to complete before deploying the BETA site to prod.

• Complete the MVP work in the Frontend project MVP for Beta release #88
• Make sure group and permission based authorization is implemented in the front end
• Set up performance testing to determine there are no major issues at scale

Last minute:

• Do official release of latest version of the API (https://github.com/geoff-maddock/events-tracker)
  • Make sure that it can be deployed from scratch with no issues (catch up the seed databases, etc)
• Do official release of the latest version of the Frontend (this repo)
• Notify all users who have logged in
  • Compile list of users and BCC them

Deployment:

• Execute deployment Deploy react site to prod #147
  • Pick a good time - late sunday?
  • Notify users?

Post-Deployment:

• Test live site
• Run performance testing on prod site
• Examine google search stats after a week to confirm sitemap/spidering
