Yes, there are still code updates, about once a month. I would also like to see some official feedback on the current status and the near future, but I am still loyal to the project and something is obviously happening ... |

Unfortunately, it seems that K2 will no longer be developed. And that's too bad. I was forced to use a fork of K2 for Joomla 5, but for Joomla 6 I have no options. Will the developers not save their project? Is the dispute between them and Joomla worth making others suffer? I have a website with 65,000 articles on K2, and what should I do with them now? You seem to be making a Joomla 3 fork, and most developers no longer make their extensions for this version! So what's the point? You would create a PRO version of Joomla 6 - we are ready to pay for it! |

We are running a Joomla 3 fork for over 6 months now on major news sites. It's a process to get there. It's one thing to work on a confined environment that you control (as in our case) and another to release something that people will use. In the meantime, K2 is regularly updated. |

Hi, I read this post about a potential fork of Joomla 3 based on K2. I've been planning to start a K2 site for a while and would very much be interested in being an early adopter of this. I haven't seen any news or updates on this since that post, however.
